FAQ
GENERAL QUESTIONS
Lab-grown diamonds are created using either Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) or High-Pressure High-Temperature (HPHT) methods. Both processes produce diamonds that are chemically, physically, and optically identical to natural diamonds. Lab-grown diamonds are more affordable, eco-friendly, and ethically responsible. Available in various colours, they are created in weeks, compared to the millions of years required for natural diamonds.
At REIGN, we are committed to ethical, sustainable, and responsible business practices. We carefully select our suppliers, all of whom are audited and certified by international organisations like the Responsible Jewellery Council. Additionally, every item undergoes third-party certification, ensuring the authenticity and quality of our diamonds.
No, ethically-sourced diamonds are typically 50-60% more affordable than natural diamonds, depending on size and production methods. Pricing varies based on carat weight, cut, colour, clarity, and overall supply and demand.
Recycled gold and platinum are metals that have been previously used, melted, refined, and reused. This process helps reduce the environmental impact of new mining. The quality remains unchanged, as recycled metals are refined to the same level of purity as new metals. Whether new or recycled, gold's purity is determined by its carat, which remains consistent.
The Kimberley Process Certification Scheme was established in 2006 to prevent the trade of conflict diamonds. However, since REIGN exclusively uses lab-grown diamonds, these concerns do not apply. Our diamonds are certified by renowned institutions like IGI (International Gemological Institute), and each purchase includes a certificate of authenticity.
While lab-grown diamonds are not as rare as natural diamonds, the craftsmanship behind each piece makes them extraordinary. Skilled artisans create unique designs with expertise and precision, ensuring each piece is a work of art.
Yes, lab-grown diamonds are just as valuable as mined diamonds because they share the same physical and visual properties. Their value is determined by the “4Cs” (carat weight, cut, clarity, and colour). However, they are often 50-60% more affordable, making them a popular choice for their environmental and ethical advantages.

Yes, lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds. They are chemically, physically, and optically identical to natural diamonds, but they are created in a laboratory rather than formed naturally in the earth. Lab grown diamonds are often more ethical, environmentally friendly, and affordable.

Lab-grown diamonds should be cared for just like natural diamonds. Clean them regularly with mild dish soap and warm water. Avoid exposing your jewellery to harsh chemicals, extreme temperatures, or abrasive materials. When not in use, store your jewellery safely, and have it checked by a professional jeweller periodically to maintain its condition.
